This office based role will help to manage and develop the excellent customer relations we already have through after sales support and the sale of spares and service contracts.  Although the position will report directly to the UK Sales Manager, you will also work closely with the Engineering and Service Team to ensure the appropriate technical support is provided to the customer when necessary.  Some customer visits and site inspection work will be required and so occasional UK travel necessary.  Prospects for this position are good and as the company expands its sales and support team both in the UK and overseas, the position and responsibilities will also grow.  Although training will be given on our full range of products and in all other aspects of the job, a technical/engineering background is essential because of the technical involvement internally and with customers and suppliers alike.  Customer facing experience would also be an advantage as direct customer contact is a key part of this position’s success.  This is an exciting and challenging position for someone who likes to work as part of a dynamic team but for someone who is also self motivated and can work alone with the initiative to continuously improve and bring new ideas to the business.

Starfrost are an innovative company that leads the field in new IQF system design and the latest energy efficient freezing and chilling technology.  To further enhance our current market share, we are ready to develop the next series of IQF systems that will deliver equipment to the food processing industry that is truly ground breaking in specification, hygiene and intelligent operation.  Initially this is a temporary position to take from concept to final detailed design a series of new products.  A mechanical design engineering background with CAD experience is essential

Due to a full order book, we require a temporary mechanical AutoCAD draughtsperson to support our current Project Team on existing contracts and new equipment development.  With a standard product range as well as custom designed equipment to be detailed, in addition to helping with new R&D projects, the work will be varied and interesting.  Continuous improvement and innovation is key to the success of our business so we welcome applications from those who not only like to work within a dynamic engineering team but have the initiative to contribute too.  Previous AutoCAD experience essential.  An initial period of 3 months is expected for this position.
