A flexible in-line freezing system from  Starfrost has boosted business at a major seafood production facility in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire. Seacatch provides a wealth of production services to the seafood industry including product freezing, poaching, grading, glazing, bandsawing, packing and labeling. The firm currently handles around 100 metric tonnes of seafood products per week for leading fish suppliers and many blue chip clients. |

 After attending and entering The Suffolk Chamber of Commerce Business Awards, Starfrost are delighted to have won both categories entered for, these were “International Trade Award” and “Product Innovation and Diversity Award”
Starfrost are also the proud winners of the prestigious award of “Business of the Year”. Winners of the all the categories were automatically entered into the Business of the Year Award, Starfrost were shortlisted along with 9 other companies in the Waveney area.

Based near Bangkok, Golden Foods Siam (GFS) manufactures a variety of chicken products including raw processed meat and cooked added value ranges. GFS supplies retail and food service markets in the UK and Ireland, Continental Europe, Asia and the Middle East, as well as serving Thailand.
In 2011 GFS opened a brand new processing facility in order to significantly expand its cooked added value division. A key requirement for the new factory was an efficient freezing system for processing products including marinated and coated chicken pieces and karaage, a Japanese delicacy. UK equipment manufacturer Starfrost has supplied five spiral freezers to a leading chicken processor in Thailand as part of a major factory expansion.
