Starfrost is proud to support World Refrigeration Day, which celebrates the people and technologies responsible for creating and maintaining the world we live in, a world dependent upon temperature-controlled environments.
The event is supported globally by industry, professional groups, scientific and engineering associations, as well as by governments and individuals. The Star Refrigeration Group has been announced as sponsors for World Refrigeration Day (WRD) which takes place on 26th June 2021.
In addition to focusing on sustainable cooling, this year’s WRD 21 campaign will focus on careers in the refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pumps industry and is titled “Cooling Champions: Cool Careers for a Better World”. The goal of the campaign is to inspire students and young professionals – for both men and women – in all countries, encouraging them to meet the challenges faced in their communities.
Robert Long, Managing Director, from Starfrost (part of the Star Refrigeration Group) said: “Together with Star, we are delighted to be supporting World Refrigeration Day 2021. The campaign also aims to inform and educate about the significant role the industry and its technology play in modern life and society with around 5 billion refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat-pump systems currently in operation worldwide.
