We are always looking for ways to give back to organisations that provide support to our local area as part of the Star Community Involvement Programme. In support of this initiative, Starfrost recently sponsored Waveney Football Club Lions under-eight team in Lowestoft, Suffolk.

The recent sponsorship funded personalised rain jackets for the children in the team, the two coaches and provided additional training kit provisions such as poles, stands, carry cases, captain armbands and flat disc markers.

Shane McGarvey, Starfrost’s Head of Projects and one of the team’s coaches, commented on the sponsorship: “Given the UK weather, the rain jackets have arrived in perfect time and are a necessity to keep the team dry during the season. The jacket personalisation keeps me sane when they are strewn all over the pitch during training or on match days to ensure they all leave with the correct jacket!”

“I am very proud of the team; they have progressed at a phenomenal rate and have had an extremely successful start to their development football journey since forming in June 2021. They now have a new kit to enhance the hard work that goes into their training and playing.”
