At Starfrost, we’re more than just experts in freezing — we’re pleased to announce we are partnering with Geary’s Bakeries to deliver a bespoke spiral cooler tailored to their Jason’s Sourdough line.
For over 100 years, Geary’s Bakeries has been a leader in the UK’s artisan bread scene, combining traditional methods with cutting-edge technology. With the rapid growth of Jason’s Sourdough brand, the bakery is investing £30m in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, turning to Starfrost for an automated cooling system that would match their expanding needs.
Efficient, High-Quality Cooling for Increased Production
The large-capacity Helix spiral cooler, featuring a dual drum system, will enable the bakery to boost production without compromising quality. This innovative design will ensure that each loaf of sourdough is gently chilled, preserving the integrity of the artisan product while meeting the demands of higher output. With efficiency at its core, the spiral cooler will deliver consistent, high-quality results — from the first loaf to the last.

It’s artisan bread, but production has been taken to the next level. By combining Geary’s century-old craftsmanship with Starfrost’s advanced cooling technology, we’re helping Geary’s Bakery rise to the challenge of growing demand — without sacrificing the flavour, texture, and authenticity that have made Jason’s Sourdough the UK’s #1 sourdough brand.
