Starfrost recently completed commissioning of a Helix spiral freezer for a vegetable processing giant. Our expert engineers designed, manufactured and installed the Helix spiral freezer at a UK based site.The food manufacturer, one of our long standing customers, made a multimillion-pound investment to refurbish one of its factories, which has included new product and processing lines. Including the most recent project, our team have completed five successful equipment installations for the client.The Helix Spiral Freezer features a twin drum to maximise production capacity and has been designed to freeze 4000 kilos per hour of ready meals.The highly efficient design of the Helix spiral freezer delivers low energy consumption and precisely controlled freezing, which means the customer is able to achieve reduced energy costs together with the highest level of product quality.
