The Role
A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join the Manufacturing team within freezing and chilling equipment manufacturer Starfrost.
The position available is working as part of the Manufacturing team to construct high quality engineering projects to meet work programme budget and schedule
- Based in the Lowestoft Head Office manufacturing facility
- Welding and fabricating of engineered products to meet design & project specification and delivery dates
- Deliver best practice engineering and problem solving
- Work to health, safety and quality standards
- Identify new opportunities for system, process and design improvements
The Candidate
The position will involve working to detailed design specifications and therefore it is essential you have strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality in all areas of the role.
You will possess a self-motivated, flexible approach and the ability to work and contribute effectively as part of a team.
Qualifications/experience
- To have an all-round knowledge of general Fabrication/Sheet Metal equipment
- Proficient in Tig and Mig Welding
- Good problem solving skills
- Good all round Engineering experience within the industry is essential.
